  • NSW | Kasim Ali-Khan

    I have been in the furniture industry since 1986 and I have worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles across the spectrum from small manufacturers to large multinationals including Knoll International and Herman Miller.

     

    My qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Facilities Management (Sydney University) and have special interest in Organisational Change Management and Activity Based Workplaces. I enjoy bringing my experience and knowledge to the built environment, particularly in ergonomics, people focused design and new ways of working.

     

    I established Tables Chairs and Workstations (TCW) in 2008 as a Supplier of Choice in the furniture industry providing significant knowledge and experience in the supply of products and facilities related services. I have combined my love of travel with exploring furniture companies across the globe representing smart, innovative and quirky designs.

     

    TCW have provided solutions for clients in the education, commercial, retail, hospitality and workplace sectors. We are experienced at turnkey furniture solutions and sourcing for clients including UTS, Sydney University, Northern Beaches Hospital, RMIT, Deakin, Tandem, Lend Lease and NAB.

    I have been fortunate to be a leading sales executive in the commercial furniture industry for over 40 years with a focus on providing the ideal solution for the individual needs of customers. I enjoy applying my experience, knowledge and creative problem solving to projects and revel in working with great products. I have seen many changes in my career and have a thorough appreciation of the impact that furniture and accommodation styles have on the functionality and culture within built environments.

    I have enjoyed over 20 years of experience in office furniture manufacturing and logistics and have held factory management roles in several organisations. I have a thorough appreciation of the importance of team work and bring my enthusiasm and can-do work ethic to the operations of TCW projects. With a focus on quality customer service, I enjoy communicating with all our project stakeholders to achieve consistently great results.

    With 25 years of client relationship experience, as Showroom Manager at TCW I am responsible for providing support to both our prospective and existing customers and ensuring that our team are equipped with the necessary tools to assist them with their day to day activities.

     

    I believe in the importance of taking the time to listen to fully understand people and their needs and responding with creativity and resourcefulness. I enjoy looking after our customers with enthusiasm and professionalism and finding the right solution for them together with the TCW experienced team.

  • NSW | Steve Corridan

    Steve Corradin is a highly experienced professional with a commercial joinery, furniture, and fit-out background and is responsible for furniture logistics, project management and installations at TCW. This includes coordination and liaison with clients and other project delivery specialists.

    His journey in the industry began with trade and installations, where he developed a strong foundation of skills and knowledge. Steve has worked in site management on construction fit-out projects and also full turn-key delivery from sales to project management and completion of furniture installations. He has honed his exceptional skills in managing the entire project life cycle in these roles. Always focused on ensuring clients receive an excellent experience, Steve applies his knowledge and understanding to all aspects of his work and takes pride in seeing these results.

  • NSW | Michael Hardy

    I have been fortunate to have 37+ years’ experience in the furniture industry and worked with iconic brands such as Herman Miller. 

    Starting my working career as a Survey Draftsman, moving into Facility Management, I am well versed in AutoCAD, as well as being experienced in many specification software products. My focus is to create optimal layouts, pricing and custom product designs to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers and users delivered with the highest quality of service.

    Having completed my formal studies in Structural Engineering and a degree in Architecture now underway, my focus at TCW is in Design and Specification for projects including CAD layout design and estimating. I have a particular appreciation in the value of a quality customer experience that starts with a thorough understanding of all requirements and expectations, right through to installation and their needs ongoing following completion

    I have been working in the furniture industry for over 14 years and have a thorough knowledge of operations and managing products and warehouse systems. As well as this, I have experience in upholstery, welding, and varying types of installations. I enjoy bringing a personal approach to clients and project partners and appreciate the importance of excellent customer service.

  • NSW | Louis Khuat

    As a CPA, my responsibilities include maintaining the financial integrity of TCW and managing all aspects of finances, receivables, payables and reporting. I am particularly interested in applying and processing raw data for analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting purposes.

    With two decades of experience, Matt brings a deep affinity for furniture design and a track record in Sales Leadership, Strategy, Customer Experience and Marketing. His journey into furniture started with a 1950s lounge chair, sparking his appreciation for the fusion of style and comfort. Matt’s appreciation for the aesthetics, functionality and sustainability of furniture aligns perfectly with the ethos of TCW and makes him a valuable addition to our team.

    Beyond his passion for furniture, Matt’s career journey reflects adaptability and versatility. He’s a big thinker, known for exploring and delivering new sales and marketing strategies, resourcing, and creating and implementing customer value propositions across various client groups and global markets.

    Matt is also a dedicated mentor, inspired by exceptional leaders who shaped his career. In addition, his active involvement in industry affiliations such as AFRDI and the Australian Furniture Association underlines his commitment to the industry’s continual growth.
