Kasim is a furniture industry expert. With 30 years experience leading major projects across London and Sydney, Kasim has worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles with small manufacturers to large multinationals like Knoll International and Herman Miller. 

Additionally, Kasim holds a Masters Degree in Facilities Management from Sydney University with special interest in Organisational Change and Activity Based Workplaces. He is also a respected source when it comes to ergonomics and people focused design and brings education to any project both big and small. 

Kasim established TCW (Tables Chairs & Workstations) in 2008. Kasim not only recognized the need to bring new, innovative products to the Australian marketplace but also to be a knowledge provider. Providing such quality product along with education is the goal that leads the company to this day.

Another Another Alex.

Alex is originally from Manchester and attended the London College of Fashion and immigrated to Sydney in 2000. He soon realised that boardies and thongs was the limit of Australian men's fashion at the time. So he transferred his eye for detail and business acumen into the commercial furniture industry where he worked with iconic brands such as Fritz Hansen and Poltrona Frau on large scale workplace projects. Always agile and curious he then joined HBO+EMTB as associate director for business development for commercial interiors architecture winning projects to the value of $50m across education, hospitality and workplace.

Now living in the most liveable city in the world (Melbourne) with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys adding to his vinyl collection, cold climate chardonnay, fine dining and trips to Catalonia.

Having seen the industry through all of its ebbs and flows, Alex has the ability to provide the most appropriate solutions and quality customer service that all of our clients have come to expect.

Eddie brings hard work and enthusiasm to our operations at TCW with over 20 years of experience in office furniture Manufacturing and Logistics. With a thorough knowledge of the Australian furniture industry from his time at Thinking Works, Eddie is an asset when it comes to liaising with our wonderful clients and suppliers.

Carla has a wealth of experience keeping people organised.  With 12 years working in the hospitality industry making sure guests and staff are well taken care of as well as 25 years in client relationship management, she is the right person to make sure all of TCW’s customers feel they have come to the right place and will be looked after with passion and professionalism.

She said, “I have always wanted to incorporate more creativity into my life and working at TCW lets me be surrounded with beautiful furniture and innovative minds all day!” 

When she is not working you will find her running around with her 2 teenage children at basketball games or dance competitions, which she competes in herself.

A second-generation furniture pro, Ben is well versed in our industry. Ben specialises in TCW’s furniture logistics, project management and installation. Since working for TCW he was been vital in assisting large scale project installations and logistics. 

Strong and mighty, Ben is also passionate about physical health and wellness and enjoys witnessing furniture trends evolve to meet the demands of the human body. When he’s not busy supporting our client’s installation requirements, Ben can be found at the beach with his mates!

Another Alex! Alex is our project manager based out of our Melbourne showroom and looks after Victoria. Alex enjoys work that is both challenging and rewarding; one that gives him the opportunity to prove his high quality work ethic and learn new skills.

His career has guided him through from design to operations to now working in project management at TCW. Bringing to the team he is a highly motivated worker with strong initiative, always looking to implement innovative problem-solving skills to meet required goals.

Alex says “Most importantly, I take pride in my work”. “My most inspirational learning experience has been volunteering in Central America for 3 months, teaching kids mechanical workshop skills, safety, design and assembly… They taught me that the harder life is, the more you enjoy the moments it presents!”

Justin has worked in the furniture industry for years and brings lots of energy and collaboration to TCW! A Bachelor of Architecture has assisted in his understanding of client requirements, and gives him a deeper understanding of form, style and how a space impacts a person. Architecture is a very technical subject and this helps when it comes to specifying.

If he wasn't working in this industry - “Planes fascinate me and I would have love to become Pilot. It mixes my passion of travel with the fun of being miles above the ground.”

With over 20 years of experience developing, promoting and supplying product within the design industry, Kylee is equipped with valuable skills and a passion for furniture and design. Her Industrial Design and Project Management qualifications complement a practical and positive approach. Multi-tasking a variety of challenges and responsibilities extends to her busy family also, but when time permits, Kylee loves to indulge in Melbourne’s many Arts, food and wine offerings.

Another Khan! Corey is our resident on the TCW warehouse who will always greet you with a smile and charismatic conversation! Corey has been working in the furniture industry for over 14 years and has a thorough knowledge about operations, and managing products and warehouse systems. As well as this he has experience with upholstery, welding, and varying types of installations.

Other then this industry he would like to attempt being in the Army reserve. Corey’s hidden talent is that he is an excellent dancer, and his favourite quote is "The more I learn about people , The more I like my dog".

Louis is welcome brainpower to the TCW Sydney office. In 2012 he started his first bachelor degree in accounting and finance with University of Technology, Sydney, and following that decided to take a master degree with Charles Sturt University in 2013. Over the past 4 years, he has worked with three different companies as a financial accountant, providing his expert knowledge gained from his degrees. 

The combination of working while studying gave him the theoretical and practical knowledge of financial accounting – which we take full advantage of! His special strengths are working with raw data and processing them by MS Excel and accounting software such as MYOB, Xeros, Options for data analysing, reporting, budgeting and forecasting purposes.

Our resident tech whiz! Connor is a welcome addition to the TCW team with his knack for mastering new technologies and sharing tips to make using technology easier.

Connor brings to TCW a strong background in Freight Forwarding, Product Management and CX, where he has successfully helped businesses of all sizes in leveraging digital innovation to optimise their supply chain. Utilising his demonstrated experience and digital expertise, Connor works alongside our Estimations team, delivering consistent and reliable Data Entry while also promoting our online presence by updating our website.

Asked why he joined TCW, Connor said, “One of the best pieces of advice I have ever received was ‘Be a consumer of the product you want to create.’ When I read the company motto, ‘Beautiful spaces create beautiful minds’, it truly resonated with me and I knew that TCW was where I wanted to be.”

In his free time, Connor can usually be found indulging his creativity and passion for Photography, Writing and Travelling, as well as discovering unique and inspiring experiences.
